COVID-19 Update

In accordance with current San Diego County Public Health guidelines, we are currently open to provide dental care to our community. We pride ourselves in exceeding the American Dental Association and California Dental Association’s suggested safety guidelines in providing dental care during this pandemic. We will be closing our office on December 23, 2020 and opening back on January 4, 2021 to spend time with our non-dental families and wish you and yours a wonderful and healthy holiday season.

Open to Care for You

Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to beginning to safely resume our normal habits and routines. We are pleased to share that we will begin seeing patients for all types of care on Monday, May 18, 2020.

While many things in the world have changed, our commitment to your health and safety hasn’t. To help protect our patients and team, we have implemented an array of additional safety measures that go above and beyond the strict measures we have always employed. You may notice some of these changes during your next appointment, including:

  • Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask screening questions. These questions help us to ensure we keep individuals who are at a higher risk away from the office.
  • We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office.
  • Your temperature will be taken upon arrival.
  • We will ask you to wear a mask when you are not undergoing treatment.
  • You may notice that our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, children’s toys, and so forth since those items are difficult to sanitize.

Available appointment times may be limited to prevent unnecessary exposure to others and to give us additional time for increased COVID-19 safety and disinfecting measures. Please be patient with us as we adjust to our new safety and scheduling protocols. It is vital that you notify us at 760-722-4765 if you are unable to keep any scheduled appointments so that we may able to accommodate others who want to be seen.

Our team will be wearing enhanced personal protective equipment (PPE). This PPE is bulky and may sometimes make our team feel less friendly, but we assure you behind every mask is the same caring smile you know.

In order to provide our team and patients, the extra protection our new and enhanced PPE provides, we will be adding a small PPE charge per visit. This charge may not be currently covered by insurance.

If you missed an appointment while our office was closed to routine care, we will be reaching out to reschedule your appointment shortly.

Thank you for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty, and we look forward to seeing you soon.

Warmly,

Your dental family at California Coast Dental Arts
